PURPOSE:To prevent the movement and falling of a magnetic wedge by vibration by making the magnetic wedge by an expandable resin layer containing magnetic powder and that containing no magnetic powder, and mounting the magnetic wedge on a slot so that the expandable resin layer containing no magnetic powder faces to the inside of the slot before said resin layer containing magnetic powder is foamed on heating. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic wedge is made by an expandable resin layer 1 containing magnetic powder and that 2 containing no magnetic powder. And the magnetic wedge is mounted on the opening section of a slot mounted with conductors 3 by facing the layer 2 to the inside of the slot. And a magnetic wedge material is heated under this condition and fixed to the slot opening section by foaming. In this way, the magnetic wedge can positively be secured to a predetermined position and can firmly be fixed against vibration at the time of the stoppage of the operation.
