<p>The panel is made of a relatively large trough section using two sheet metal profiles (1,2) assembled along each other, the volume between the two sheets being filled with a rigid thermally insulating material (10). One sheet is exposed to the elements and has two parallel lateral steps (6) to take the edges of the glass covering the solar energy pipe network (15,16). The overlap assembly zones between the sheets (4,5) extend parallel to the steps, are on the trough face opposite to that exposed to the weather, and are sealed with double side adhesive strip (9).</p> |
