PURPOSE:To prevent the shortcircuiting failure of a charging circuit due to the leakage of an electrolyte by dividing the inside of a housing of a charging device into a battery space and a parts space for charging circuit parts by means of a battery cover. CONSTITUTION:A storage battery 4 and charging circuit 3 are accommodated in housing 1 to form a charging device for, for example, an electric shaver. Where, the inside of the housing 1 is devided by means of a battery cover 5 into a battery storing space 6 for accommodating the battery 4 and a parts storing space 7 for accommodating charging circuit parts, in which for example, parts including a print substrate 14 should be stored. Parts holding members 13, 15, 16 are integrated on the battery cover 5, and an absorbing member 8 is preferably provided in the battery storage space 6 to prepare for the possible leakage of an electrolyte. A temperature control IC19 including a temperature sensor is elastically supported in the storage battery 4 with a tongue 18 formed on the cover 5. |
