摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the load of software for a linear approximation arithmetic circuit, by using a fixed storage device that calculates previously the i/n times value of the minimum resolution value up to the maximum value of the difference of coordinates at the both end points of each straight line and then stores the calculated value in correspondence to the address (i). CONSTITUTION:The value obtained by giving an i/n multiplication (i: number showing the order of equally divided points on each straight line from an edge point) to an integer-fold value of the minimum resolution value up to the maixmum value of the difference of coordiantes at both end points of each staright line is stored in an address decided by the coordinate difference and (i) for a fixed storage device 2 that calculates previously a linear approximation operation and then stores the value of the subordinate variable with the variable of the linear approximation operation used as an address. A computer 1 is connected to the device 2 via an input bus line 3 and an output bus line 4, reads the storage contents on the address decided by the coordinate difference and (i), and adds and subtracts the coordinate value at an edge point to and from the coordinate value at the equally divided point of number (i) on a straight line to obtain the coordinates on the straight line.
