PURPOSE:To prevent the blotting of electrolyte by placing an O ring and an oily subsistance for saponifying the electrolyte at the sealing portion where a polarity pole terminal is inserted through a battery jar cover. CONSTITUTION:A seat 3 is formed on a polarity pole terminal 2' connected with a pole board group 1, then said terminal 2' is inserted into a hole made in a battery jar cover 4. Here a battery jar cover 4' is mounted on the seat 3 and fastened by a nut 5, while said insertion hole is tapered and the polarity pole terminal inserting portion is also tapered correspondingly. Under such state an O ring is placed between the polarity pole terminal 2' and the inserting hole 8 while an oily subsistance 10 for saponifying the electrolyte(KOH) is injected into the gap. |
