PURPOSE:In a miniature lamp where a jumet wire is employed as the encapsulating metallic wire for a glass bulb, to redude the production of foam at the interface of the encapsulation thus to suppress the occurrence of the defective lead by suppressing the oxygen and the nitrogen to be contained in the core metal of the jumet wire below 25 PPM. CONSTITUTION:A jumet wire where the content of the oxygen in the core metal is lower than 25 PPM while that of the nitrogen is lower than 25 PPM is employed as the metallic wire for encapsulating the glass. A tungsten filament 8 is encapsulated in a miniature glass bulb 7 having the outer diameter shorter than 1.40 and the entire length shorter than 4 , then one end of the jumet wire 1a is connected to both end sections of the filament 8 while the other end section is led out to the outside while penetrating the encapsulating section 7a of the glass bulb 7 air-tightly. In such a miniature lamp, the producition of the oxygen and the nitrogen foam at the interface between the jumet wire 1a and the glass bulb 7 is reduced considerably at the encapsulating section 7a. |
