PURPOSE:To manufacture the shouldering belt of bag, camera, etc., continuously and economically by intermittently changing the winding rate of the belt in a method of manufacturing the belt in which a belt-like resin material extruded from a die is pressed into a flat form by a pair of rolls. CONSTITUTION:A belt-like thermoplastic soft synthetic resin material extruded through the die 2 of a cross head 1 is pressed on enbossing rolls 9 and 9' being cooled by water from a nozzle 8 from both sides into a flatted synthetic resin belt 7 which is in turn wound around a roll 5 through guide roll inside a cooling water tank. In this method, the rate of widing of the roll 5 is intermittently delayed in order to widen the width of the belt during the period. Thus, a shouldering belt whose part to be touched by the shoulder of a user is widened can be obtained. |
