PURPOSE:To manufacture an electrode for discharge working of press mold and the like easily and at low cost by causing a conductive netlike material to tightly adhere to a master die to mold the material and reinforcing the same with a backup material. CONSTITUTION:A conductive netlike material 4 such as a graphite cloth, a netlike copper wire or the like is pressed against the master die 3 to mold the material in a form the same as a mold 2, and futher a fitting bracket 5 is set and a backup material 6 such as hard vinyl chloride or the like is poured in the mold to reinforce the same by lining and filling. After curing the backup material 6, when the mold is removed from the master die 3, a male type discharge working electrode 7 is produced. By these procedures, the manufacturing cost and the number of manufacturing steps are remarkably reduced. |
