<p>The soft, moulded trim strip is located over the seam forming the side gutter. Tags (7), stamped out of the seam, form retaining fingers for the strip. One of the weld flanges only need be slotted for the tags. The strip partially fills the gutter and forms a soft pad for a roof rack. A second strip moulding (6b) is attached to the main strip alongg one edge (10) and sits under the gutter, with a groove (11) on the outside. This forms a hold for the locking tags of the roof rack. The soft strip protects the seam and is not easily damaged by weather.</p> |
