PURPOSE:To decrease the generation of shading, by reducing the difference between the upper and lower limits of rays incident to dichroic mirrors. CONSTITUTION:Video tube side lens systems 9R, 9G, 9B are located on rotating symmetrical axes 2R, 2B, 2R by crossing a red reflection dichroic mirror 1R and a blue reflection dichroic mirror 1B at right angles. Plane mirrors 10R, 10B are located immediately after the lens systems to fold optical axes 2R, 2B toward optical axes 2R', 2B'. Thus, the optical axes 2R', 2B' are made parallel to an optical axis 2G. Video tubes 4R, 4G, 4B of red, green and blue are located on the optical axes 2R', 2G', 2B'. Thus, the difference between the upper and lower limits of rays incident to the dichroic merrors is decreased and the shading can be reduced. |
