Aircraft air-conditioning system - mixes cold and hot air under control of digital processor to determine temp. in different zones

The air-conditioning system allows cold air to be mixed with hot air under pressure to maintain the required temp. in one or more zones within the aircraft. The temp. within each zone is monitored by a temp. sensor, coupled to a digital processor having a temp. display for each zone and determining the temp. of the air to be fed to the latter in dependence on the difference between the real and preselected temps. The processor also controls a stepping vane (V3) for regulating the temp. of the cold air and vanes (V21-V2n) controlling the hot air feed for the mixer stages associated with the controlled zones. The system is designed for a large scale passenger aircraft to provide different cabin temps. in respective zones.
