Sealing strip joining one curved and one flat surface - has W=shaped profile with two contact points maintained during expansion of curved surface

The sealing strip is applied to the inner bore of the curved surface (3) and is attached to the flat surface (4). The W shaped strip has a flange (7) which is fixed to the surface (4). The strip comes into contact with the curved surface in two places (10,11) and will maintain contact at the point (12) in the case of expansion of the curved surface to the position (3A). The sealing strip may be made out of stainless steel or other material of sufficient elasticity and may have more than two points of contact.
