<p>A pulse Doppler ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus which enables the best Doppler signals to be obtained at all times for any sample volume length under the conditions where an average power of the transmitted ultrasonic waves is limted to be constant. The diagnosis apparatus has means for limiting the average power to be constant for the transmitted ultrasonic wave signals, means for varying burst wave number, and means for varying the length of the integration for the received ultrasonic signals, and controls both the burst wave number of the transmitted ultrasonic waves and the length of integration of the received ultrasonic signals.</p> |
