<p>PURPOSE:To surely align the leading ends of stacked sheets of paper by providing an opening and closing member which can assume a close position and an open position for a paper feed path. CONSTITUTION:Sheets of paper having undergone copying on one side are fed into an intermediate tray 12, where they are stacked on a floor plate 22. Here, their positions are aligned by a leading end position aligning member 25 vibrating in arrow directions, and broadside aligning members 24a, 24b. Further, a vertically movable shutter 36 is provided to the leading end in the feed direction. At the time of aligning the leading ends of the sheets, the shutter 36 locates in the uppermost position to shut off the conveyance path, and in this state the member 25 vibrates and therefore the leading ends of the sheets are aligned surely. When the sheets having been aligned of their leading ends are going to be delivered out, the shutter 36 locates to the lowermost position, thereby opening the conveyance path.</p> |
