PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the mobile communication system in which a coverage zone is extended without use of an infrared ray emitting element requiring a large transmission power and service information is sent at a high speed. SOLUTION: A master station 10A distributes service information in a zone 10Z by means of an infrared ray. Slave stations 11a 11h have a service information transmission section 112 and form zones 11Za-11Zh around the zone 10Z. A transmission enable information generating section of the master station 10A controls a service information transmission section of a satellite station in a zone in which the presence of a mobile terminal equipment 3 is detected to deliver the same service information synchronously with the service information of the master station 10A.
