<p>PURPOSE:To prepare decorative plates continuously by a method wherein a concave groove is formed on a wide substrate at the interval of the width of the one to be obtained as the final product of the decorative plate, a decorative sheet is bonded, the substrate is cut according to a shiplap joint method, while forming half lap joints of both male and female on the two pieces. CONSTITUTION:On the surface of the substrate 1' having a width size several times as large as the width of the one to be obtained as the final product of the decorative plate, concave groove 5 having an inverse trapezoidal section is formed at the interval of the width of the decorative plate, on one side of the bottom surface of this concave groove 5 is formed another concave groove 6 having a small width along this concave groove 5 and a decorative sheet 2' is bonded with the surface of the substrate 1' so that the part corresponding to the concave groove 6 can form a nonadhesive area of the decorative sheet 2'. Then, on the back side of said substrate 1' the substrate 1' is cut off with a cutter 7 at the circumference of the concave groove to be cut off, and a shiplap male part 1''a is formed at one cut end part, while a shiplap female part 1''b is formed at the other cut end part. Thus, decorative plates are manufactured on continuous manner.</p> |
