The accordion folding door runs on rollers (27) located by continuously slotted box section tracks (9) at the head and foot. Each roller is mounted on a horizontal plate (25) cantilevering from a vertical axle (24), and the axle in a relatively tight sliding fit in a sleeve (18) fixed to the rear face of a door leaf (2). An elastic circlip (31) is used to fix the axle in the axial sense, being mounted on the aale, and sited between the sleeve and a fixed ring (19). The leading end of the axle may have a conical taper (24b), and the central fixed rollers may use a screw jack to apply an axial compression to axle.
