摘要 <p>A method of making a rotationally symmetrical object, such as a printed circuit, which has a metal pattern on a surface of its plastic base symmetrical about the axis of rotation consists of first injection moulding the plastics object together with the rectangular recesses in its surface, then metallising this rotationally symmetrical surface together with the rectangular section recesses, and then finally grinding away the excess metal so that: (a) the object is accurately turned to give a circular form and (b) the metal is removed from the original principal plastics surface, leaving metal only in the recesses. This method may be used for the production of small printed circuits and offers the advantage that the machining or grinding process is simple and accurate circularity is achieved.</p>
