PURPOSE:To obtain the reference position signals and the revolution angle signals by a single rotor by a method wherein in a magnetic detection system of engine revolution sensor device the rotor circumference is provided with a part steeply changing its shape and another part slowly changing the shape in the different order. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 2 consists of a part (A) steeply changing its shape and another part (B) slowly changing and is provided two kinds of teeth 2a-2d wherein the part (A) and the part (B) appear in the different order. Opposing to the rotor 2 a stator 5 consisting of a tooth 51, a permanent magnet 52 and a coil 54 is prepared. When the part (A) passes in front of the tooth 51 according to revolution a steep waveform with large amplitude is put out while the part (B) passes by a slow waveform with small amplitude is put out, whereby the waveform of the tooth 2a is reversed in plus and minus to those of 2b-2d. When the waveform is shaped by the reference voltage less than a small amplitude the revolution angle signals each 90 deg. are produced while when only the amplitude in the part (A) is detected, that becomes the reference position signals. |
