<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate a clutch, to smooth the rolling reduction operation, and to make the operativity highly accurate, by providing a pulse generator in a couple of rolling reduction motors, and by controlling rotational velocities of the rolling reduction motors so as to elimiante the difference between the pulses. CONSTITUTION:The output pulses of pulse generators 5a, 5b generating pulses correspondingly to the rotational velocities of respective rolling reduction motors 2a, 2b are inputtd to a pulse canceler 8 which then operates a difference between these inputted plses and generates a differential pulse only corresponding to this difference. This differential pulse is counted by a reversible pulse counter 9 whose number of counts is then converted to an analog signal by a digital-to-analog converter DAC10. The output of the DAC10 is used as a signal for controlling the rotational velocities of rolling reduction motors 2a or 2b so as to eliminate the difference between rotational velocities. Accordingly, a clutch to be installed between the rolling reduction motors 2a, 2b is eliminated so that a time lag is not caused in the operation and the operation is quickly performed.</p> |
