PURPOSE:To prevent a recording form from being stained by setting the longer carriage time of the recording form between a heat-fixing device and a carriage roller than the time when toner particles solved by the heat-fixing device are solidified by being cooled. CONSTITUTION:A carriage roller 11 is at a distance L2 from a fixing device 6 and this distance is greater than the distance L1 of a conventional device. This distance L2 from the heat-fixing device 6 is so determined that toner particles t0 solved by the fixing device 6 on a recording form P will reach the carriage roller 11 after being solidified completely. None of toner particles t0, therefore, sticks to carriage roller 11, which never gets stained, so that the recording form will not be stained. |
