PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a slow release material having effectively controlled volatile behavior of a volatile chemical or eluting behavior of an eluting chemical from the initial time of the use, hardly wasting the chemical, stably exhibiting the effect over a long period, capable of being readily produced, and capable of being stably produced in constant quality, and further to provide a secondary product derived from such the slow release material. SOLUTION: This slow release complex includes a composition consisting essentially of (B) a functional chemical and (C) a photocurable resin, and being also carried by the interiors of pores of (A) a porous inorganic material, and the photocurable resin C in the composition has been photocured. The secondary product of the slow release complex has the slow release complex included in (D) a base phase or supported by (E) a substrate.
