The handle is formed from a tube (10) which has a round cross- section and on which impressions are made in two opposite sides at equal spacings transversely with respect to the tube longitudinal axis. To improve the strength of the grip the tube is provided on four sides with impressions (12), the spacing of which from one another is somewhat larger than the average width of a finger (approximately 20 mm). On being grasped, said spacings cause an involuntary slight spreading of the hand and thus a surprisingly firm grip, by feeding the fingers in each case to the deepest points in the impressions. <IMAGE>
