The tractor cabin (1) has sliding side windows (2), pivoting front windows (10) and is entered from the front. The side and front windows are connected by a rigid rod (4). The rod is fixed by ball joints (42,40) to the side window (2) and to the front window (10) above its pivot point (22) so that when the front window swings open the side window slides back, sliding forward again when the front window is closed. This method allows the front windows to be opened without use of additional parts which obstruct visibility, and also provides easier access to the cabin by sliding the side window out of the way during entry.
