PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield case with a strengthened mounting leg, having heightened shielding effect, and to provide an electric connector having the same. SOLUTION: The shield case for a connector, fitted to the peripheral surface of a housing 10 having a terminal, formed by bending metal plate into cylinder shape, having a mounting leg 23 formed by cutting and raising the part of the shield case 20 so as to locate at the mounting bottom surface; has a flattened part 27, 28, buried in the direction of plate thickness at the rim part of a notched part 26, created at the shield case main body by the formation of the cut and raised part of the mounting leg 23, and by flattening a rim part is made to project in the direction of narrowing the notched part 26 by plastic processing.
