PURPOSE:To facilitate recovering and discarding of the toner by melting and solidifying the toner in a recovering vessel by means of the heating elements mounted to the casing of a scraping member. CONSTITUTION:The residual toner of a transfer roller 9 making direct rolling contact with a photoreceptor 4 is scraped off by a cleaning blade 24, and the falling toner is accumulated into a recovering vessel 27. At this time, the toner in the vessel 27 is melted and solidified by the heating elements 29a, 29b provided in the bottom face and side face of a casing 21 built therein with the blade 24 and the vessel 27. Hence, the toner is recovered and discarded easily. |
