PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of a controlling system of a DC linear motor by changing over the feeding sections at a point of time when currents decrease to zero. CONSTITUTION:The output currents of a constant-current power source A are at ON at a half period by means of a flip-flop B and at OFF at a latter half period, are converted into rectangular waves, phase thereof is shifted successively only by one-fourth periods up to the fourth phase from the first phase, and are supplied to the armature coils 11-54 of feeder sections F1-F5 through feeder section switches S11-S54. When a vehicle exists in the feeder section F1, the feeder section switches S11-S14 are at ON. When the vehicle is moved to the feeder section F2 from the F1, the feeder section switches S11-S14 of the feeder section F1 are turned OFF successively every phase, which is changed into no-currents, while the feeder section switches S31-S34 of the feeder section F3 are turned ON, and the feeder sections are changed over. |
