<p>PURPOSE:To reduce an electric power cost required in heat regeneration by a method wherein stock air heated by compression heat of a blower is utilized as preheating air during the heat regeneration of an adsorbing agent and a residual moisture is released by the stock air further heated by the heater. CONSTITUTION:The air is sucked and pressurized by a blower 41. The heated stock air is passed through a pipe 42, a valve 43, a heater 62 and a valve 59 and entered into a packed tower 56B to carry out the preliminary regeneration of an adsorbing agent to evaporate an adsorbed moisture therefrom. The air after regeneration is introduced into coolers 45, 48 through a pipe 65, valves 54, 68 to be sufficiently cooled. The air from which condensed water generated by cooling is separated is entered into one hand packed tower 56A through a pipe 51, valves 52, 54 and dehumidified therein to be taken out a product air through a pipe 60. In this regeneration process, a heater 62 is operated to reheat the heated stock air to about 200-250 deg.C and equilibrium adsorbed water remained in the adsorbing agent is completely released.</p> |
