PURPOSE:To make toner concn. uniform over the entire width of a copying paper by providing long holes to a carrier separator, and providing a device for conveying the falling toner to the center below the rear part of the separator. CONSTITUTION:The developer-carrier mixture separated from a developing sleeve 2 moves on a carrier separator 5 which is provided with long holes 15 except the end parts, and part of said mixture falls onto a developing tray 1 through the long holes 15. On the other hand, said mixture which did not fall through the long holes 15 falls onto a guide plate 14 having a device 12 for conveying said mixture to the central part, by which it is gathered in the central part and falls onto the developing tray through long holes 17 of inverted roof shape after it has been thoroughly agitated with the fresh developer. If the developer is too much, excess also falls through holes 16. |
