<p>The operating mechanism for an opening fanlight comprises a flexible plastics push-rod (10) located in a guide tube (11) fixed to the door post (2) and blind window frame. The push-rod connects the window opening linkage (6,7) to an operating handle (9). The flexible construction of the push-rod (10) permits easy application to fanlights of any shape. The need for corner linkages required with rigid push-rods is eliminated.</p> |
