<p>Cooled rollers (3) having a metallic circumferential surface for the transport of dyes or moistening agents in offset printing machines, in particular friction rollers. The uniform temperature distribution, extending over the entire machine width, which is required for a disturbance-free printing process is particularly jeopardised after the machine has stopped and moistening has ceased. The heat transition thus occurring from the relatively warm side walls, drive and bearing parts to the cooler roller elements leads on restarting to disturbances due to non-uniform temperature distribution. In order to prevent this heat flow, elements (12) having a low conductivity of heat are now arranged between the metallic circumferential surface of the roller (3) and the components (1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 25) which heat up during machine running. <IMAGE></p> |
