PURPOSE:To prevent a workpiece from being deformed, by using a centrifugal force compensator employing a counterweight, to counterbalance the centrifugal force of a jaw while it is revolving. CONSTITUTION:A centrifugal force compensator for compensating the centrifugal force of a jaw 5 is so constructed that the centrifugal force of a counterweight 10 acts to the back 3e of a master jaw 3 near its peripheral surface to thrust the master jaw 3 forward. The central centrifugal force of the jaw 5 holding a workpiece is compensated while the jaw 5 is revolving. The jaw 5 is reset to its initial holding force when the jaw 5 is stopped. The workpiece is thus prevented from being deformed. |
