PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration of the quality of molten steel in the nozzle due to the solidification, by controlling the time from gas bubbling stop to opening to the nozzle at the time of opening and from closing to gas bubbling to the nozzle at the time of closing, respectively. CONSTITUTION:Porous brick 7 which performs gas bubbling is made larger and the distance between lower nozzle 6 and cross gate 9 is constituted shorter. Then, the time from gas bubbling stop to opening to nozzle at the time of opening of sliding nozzle is switched within 60sec. Similarly, the time from closing to gas bubbling to the nozzle at the time of closing of the nozzle is switched within 60sec. In this way, the solidification of molten steel in cross gate 9 is surely prevented, and the lowering of molten steel pouring speed can be avoided. |
