A pipe roof structure and a construction method thereof is provided to combine two or more steel pipes and propel the structure under the ground so as to reduce the construction period and cost. A construction method of a pipe roof structure comprises a step of forming a plurality of coupled steel pipes(100) in which two or more steel pipes(110) are combined in the horizontal direction, a step of setting temporary facility on both sides of the road or underground structure and propelling a first coupled steel pipe based on the outline of a target structure, a step of setting a support bar vertically in the inner one side of the first coupled steel pipe, a step of forming a horizontal groove by cutting the right and left outermost side of the first coupled steel pipe, a step forming a second coupled steel pipe with an angle to be fitted to the horizontal groove, and a step of propelling the second coupled steel pipe into the horizontal groove of the first coupled steel pipe. |
