In the housing of the door opener is pivotally mounted a swivelling flap under spring stress, which can be blocked by a spring-loaded locking lever, being releasable by one or several electromagnets. The swivelling flap has a locking edge extending on its rear side over its entire width. Behind the edge is an iron locking plate, which in the locking position stands on the bottom of the housing. The iron plate is pivotable and spring-mounted at its ends in corner or spherical points, or in rounded needles. A spring-loaded iron oscillation plate is loosely guided in arms with both U-shaped ends. It cooperates as the electromagnet armature directly with cores of coils, mounted on an iron coil support plate, or directly on the rear wall of the housing.
