PURPOSE:To obtain a long sized photoelectric converter having no defect by forming an array photoelectric converting elements, storage means, transfer means and signal processor formed of shift registers on the same substrate. CONSTITUTION:The upper electrodes of a photoelectric converting element 601 is sequentially connected to a storage capacitor 602 and transfer transistor 603. The shift register is formed of transistors 604, 606, 607, 608, 609 and a transistor 605 including a transfer capacitor. N pieces of this configurations are associated in series. The outputs from the photoelectric element 601 are stored in the storage capacitor 602, and sequentially transferred by the shift register. |
