<p>The saw blade is partic. designed for rock-cutting, having cutting segments spaced round the periphery. In cross-section, each segment (2) comprises a top rectangular portion (3), onto which there joins a portion (4) tapering towards the body (1) of the blade. The height of the rectangular portion can be approx. 5mm, and the angle of the taper portion approx. 92 deg. The design combines the necessary clearance angle with a lateral guide face.</p> |
