The training appts. has a table (1) for the user to lie on it face down. Four rods (11) project from the lower side of the table, with holders on the ends for hands and feet of the user. The rods are each fastened by a crank drive to crank wheels (3-6), with all wheels in transmission connection. The rotary axis (7) of the wheels form the corner points of an imaginary rectangle. Two wheels each mesh with a smaller gear (8,9), which in turn mesh with each other. An adjustable friction resistance is driven by one of the wheels, or one gear. The training appts. also may have a drive motor. Each alternative provides a coordinated circular motion.
