PURPOSE:To reduce consumption by supplying a pulse of a shorter period than the rotary period of a rotary body to a sensor amplifier and carrying out a sampling with regard to a city water meter. CONSTITUTION:A pulse from a generation circuit 13 is supplied only to a rotary sensor S2, an amplifier 3 and a sample hold circuit 4. Then during the rotation of a rotary body 1, a signal is generated in an output from the circuit 4. In the meantime, under a specific condition that the rotary body 1 is in rotation and an output signal is avaiable in the circuit 4, a pulse is supplied to a rotary sensor S1 and an amplifier 2. Consequently, during a period T1 that the rotary body 1 is in normal rotation in an arrow direction, an output signal indicating a normal direction rotation appears in an output from RSFF circuit and pulses of such number as to be proportional to the number of rotations are available in ''OR'' circuit 11. Following this process, it is possible to add the number of rotations to find water consumption by controlling a direction of counter with an output from FF10 and counting an output from the circuit 11. |
