<p>The support bracket for a car roof rack has a bracket (2) secured to the side of the roof profile by a bolt (6) screwed into a threaded hole in the roof. A second bracket (18) is bolted to the end of this and has at its upper end, part of the clamp for gripping the cross beam (21) of the roof rack. The bracket allows roof rack fitting to vehicles without side gutters, and with prepared threaded holes. The bottom bracket is bolted to the vehicle with an elastic spacer (7) to prevent scratching. The upper part of the second bracket has shaped flanges which form one half of the clamp, with the second part secured by a third bolt (28).</p> |
