The transporting equipment is for highly viscous liquids, such as tar, concentrated and/or refrigerated fruit juice etc. It has a handling mechanism (9-13) receiving barrels (V) full of the liquid and emptying them into a vessel (2), also a pressure mechanism (5,6) continuously discharging the liquid from the vessel. The handling mechanism can comprise a support for the barrel, hinging on an arm above the centre of gravity of the latter, and a retainer engaging with the support between the centre of gravity and the vessel.
