<p>The grinding vessel (1) is seated on resilient mountings (2,3) which allow swinging operation produced by a swing drive. The material to be ground is fed into the vessel through inlet (4) and the ground material is discharged through outlet (5). Along the bottom part of the vessel a set of jets (6) is fitted connected to branch pipes (7) fitted along supply pipe (8), through which compressed gas is brought into the inner space of the vessel during the grinding operation. The stream of compressed gas carries along the fine particles of the material which leave the vessel through piping (9) and enter a cyclone (10). Air separated from the solid particles is discharged by a fan (12) into the open, or returned via piping (13) into the gas supply piping.</p> |
