<p>1. Frangible closure capsule of the tamperproof type formed from a single plastics material, especially for bottles or comparable containers, comprising a top (1), an external annular skirt (2) for engagement without screwing and connected to the said top by frangible connections (8) which ensure proof against tampering, and an internal annular flange (3) to engage in the neck of the container to be closed, characterised by the fact that the internal flange (3) carries on its exterior, at a small fixed distance from the top (1), a continuous circular bead (4) to act as an escape valve by moving out of contact with the neck under the effect of the internal pressure caused by thermal expansion of the liquid contained in the container and, at a greater distance, a second bead (5) interrupted (at 6) on its periphery to permit release of pressure by lifting of the first bead (4) whilst restricting the escaping force exercised on the capsule, whilst the exterior skirt (2) has a circular periphery without protruberances and at least one frangible reduction in thickness (10, 11) extending over the whole of its height to ensure opening of the skirt (2) when the capsule is removed.</p> |
