PURPOSE:To prepare a plurality of hand-shaped ''sushi'' or rice balls, in one operation, by the use of a device composed of a body having a plurality of flexible cavities at the bottom and a cover integrated with the body. CONSTITUTION:The titled device is composed of a main body 2 having a plurality of cavities 3 separated with partition walls each other, and a cover 4 having a plurality of cavities 5 corresponding to the cavities 3 of the main body 2 and separated each other with partition walls. When the body 2 is closed with the cover 3, the upper ends of the partition walls of the body 2 come into contact with the lower ends of the partition walls of the cover 3. The bottom parts of the cavities of the body and/or the cover are formed to be flexible. A piece of fish meat 10 is put into each cavity 3 of the main body 2, and the cavity is filled with a proper amount of vinegared rice so as to cover the whole surface of the upper ends of the partition walls. The main body 2 is closed with the cover 4, and the contents of the cavities are pressed almost uniformly from the outside of the flexible bottoms of the cavities 3 or 5. |
