<p>Thermo-electric generator has the internal components embedded in silicon rubber and housed within a metal ellipsoidal form containment having a hard epoxy coating. The PU238 activated thermal column is pref. embedded in degree ECCOSIL 4952' to ensure good heating conductivity between the hot and cold ends, the latter end being compression sealed to apply a pre-loading which enhances the resistance of the generator to mechanical shock and inhibits damage.</p> |
