<p>The heat-recovery system is for heating purposes etc, and uses a solar collector with absorption pipes in a housing for a heat-transfer medium followed by a heat pump. After the collector (2) has cooled down to below the service temperature of the medium, the housing (7) is ventilated with warm ambient air. The heat pump (3) can be arranged to cut in after a time lag, following the start of ventilation of the collector. Air can be delivered and discharged at opposite ends (12,22) of the latter, and controlled electronically, the rate of flow being variable.</p> |
