PURPOSE:To detect a fault of the device without cutting off the connected part, by installing a detector to a transmission shaft and then detecting the presence or absence of the output moment. CONSTITUTION:The strain gauge 12 is stuck to the output shaft 4 of the motor 1, and then the motor 1 is driven. The presence or absence is confirmed by a measuring meter 11 for the rotational moment of the shaft 4 to know the absence or presence of a fault of the motor 1. In case an output moment is confirmed, the gauge 12 is stuck to the output shaft 8 of a transmitting device 5. In case the motor 1 is driven, a fault of the device 5 is detected by the presence or absence of the output moment. If the output moment is confirmed with no fault detected for the device, it is known that a rotation is impossible due to an internal fault of the machine facilities 9 at the side of the final load. |
