PURPOSE:To make the constitution of a transferring-stripping device simple and small by forming the end part of a transferring roller of a conductive and elastic body impressed with bias voltage via a shaft with an insulator of a small diameter and abutting the same to a stripping roller. CONSTITUTION:The bias voltage through a shaft 21 is impressed to a transferring roller 17 of a conductive and elastic body in contact with a photosensitive drum 3, and the image having been developed on the drum 3 is transferred to transfer paper P. A roller 23 of a small diameter which is an insulator, is high in hardness and is difficult to deform is juxtaposed with one end part of this roller 17, and the transfer paper is moved between the roller 23 and stripping roller 20 at the speed synchronized with that at the transferring by way of the roller 20 in contact with the roller 23, by which the transfer paper P is well stripped from the drum 3. With this constitution, the transferring-stripping device is simpler and smaller in size, and this enables the copying machine to be made smaller in size and lighter in weight. |
