PURPOSE:To prevent wear-out and breakage of a seal by forming undulation through a wrapping method on the sliding surface of either a sheet ring or a following ring and generating proper lubrication state between the both rings. CONSTITUTION:Between a level adjusting pad 3 and a pressure plate 5, the hard matrial 7 having uneven part in arbitrary form or cavities formed at the unused part is interposed, and applied with a constant pressure and wrapped, thus the ring 2 having undulation is formed. When these rings 10 are used as a seat ring 2 and a following ring 2', proper sealing liquid is taken-in into the undulation of the sliding surface 10 of the bot rings 2 and 2', so stick slip, variation of torque and variation of temperature can be eliminated. |
