PURPOSE:To access the picture memory simply, by using horizontal and vertical bit position data of picture data as addresses of the picture memory, in the picture memory where the picture divided into prescribed bits vertically and horizontally is stored. CONSTITUTION:Picture data are stored in picture memory 6 successively through data bus 1 by horizontal bit position X and vertical bit position Y applied to address registers 3 and 5. When picture data of X=5 and Y=7 is read out from picture memory 6, X=5 and Y=7 are sent to address registers 3 and 5 through selectors 2 and 4 to access picture memory 6. When picture data in the line of X=0 is read successively, X=0 and Y-direction addition data 1 are stored in registers 7 and 9, and then, X=0 and Y=0 are stored in address registers 3 and 5 first, and data of address register 5 and register 9 are added and the addition result is stored in address register to access picture memory 6 successively. Consequently, the picture memory is accessed simply without the integrating circuit. |
